Curtis Leibel
BSc Kinesiology, CSEP-CEP

After growing up in a few small communities around central Alberta, Curtis finally decided to make the move to Edmonton to complete his Bachelor of Science in kinesiology at the University of Alberta. At the time, he had absolutely no idea what he wanted to do with the degree, but did know that he loved learning how the body works. That, combined with the theory involving the psychology behind exercising, led him to a career in health and fitness coaching. After taking some time off after graduation to travel around the South American continent, he returned to start working as a personal trainer, working one-on-one devising individual programs for clients. He then moved into a different setting, managing a workout center in a fitness facility and working in a more all-encompassing fitness venue. After a few years of working in the field, Curtis decided to take this experience working in both environments, and combine them to form his own business, Leibel Lifestyles. The business now focuses on providing consulting services for people and organizations looking to lead a healthier lifestyle.

For 3 years he worked with the Alberta Rap attack program as a Wild land Firefighter and more recently he has joined the Edmonton Fire Department.
